This course provides an overview and general introduction to the many legal issues that are raised in a wide variety of public international. Public international law provides the legal framework and general principles for the relationship among the countries in the world. The basic knowledge of international law is useful for the student who may wish to become an international lawyer, work in the government of foreign affairs, or involve in further academic research. This course is designed for the law students, and the aim is to introduce general principles of international law, the current controversial global issues, and the practice experiences of international dispute cases. This course is one-year long lecture. The first semester starts with the general introduction of international Law, the development of international law, the relations between international and municipal law, the sources of international law, and move on to the subjects of international law, state recognition and succession, state’s Jurisdiction and its immunity, land territories of the states. The second semester will continues with the law of the sea, and air and space Law, citizenships, diplomatic relations, international treaties, state responsibility, dispute resolution (armed conflict, peaceful solution, judicial review and international court of justice), international organizations, international environmental law, international economic law, international humanization law, and the current circumstance and future of international law.
